Apêl Cymorth Cristnogol / Christian Aid Appeal

Cyfanswm y casgliad o’r ofalaeth oedd £725.

A total of £725 was donated to the annual appeal.

Dyma adroddiad a dderbyniwyd gan yr elusen gan ymfalchïo i ni fedru casglu cymaint o nwyddau i’w cynorthwyo a darparu stordy iddynt.

We are proud to be able to support this charity by collecting a significant amount of clothes and goods as well as providing a facility for storage.

1/07: Garddwest Sefydliad y Merched/ WI Garden Party

Codwyd pabell tu fas ac roedd gwledd o fwydydd ar gael i’w prynu a’u mwynhau.

Although the marquee tent was ready for the afternoon – thanks to members of the Men’s Shed –  it was rather chilly to sit outside but a feast of produce was displayed and enjoyed inside.

Noson Gwis y Savoy

Yn garedig iawn roedd Sied y Dynion wedi enwebu Tŷ Croeso ar gyfer ei noddi ac aeth nifer o aelodau’r capel a gwirfoddolwyr Tŷ Croeso draw. Mae’n amlwg bod aelodau a gwirfoddolwyr y capel yn rhy brysur i fedru ateb cwestiynau am ffilmiau a rhaglenni teledu – wnaethon nhw ddim yn dda iawn – ond roedd pawb wedi mwynhau. Fel arfer rhennir yr elw rhwng yr enillwyr  a’r elusen ond y tro hwn trosglwyddwyd y cyfan i Tŷ Croeso – swm o £100. Llawer o ddiolch.

Members of the Men’s Shed very kindly nominated Tŷ Croeso for this evening’s charity at the Savoy. Three teams from the chapel attended but they didn’t do very well! We understand that the profit from the quiz night is usually shared between the winners and the nominated charity – but the very gracious winners wished for all to be donated – a grand total of £100! Your supoprt is much appreciated.

Y digartref a’r Banc Bwyd

Yn ein gwasanaeth fore Sul clywsom fod Digartref Sir Gâr wedi cysylltu ag Annalyn am unigolyn oedd angen cymorth ac ar unwaith cafwyd cyfraniad o £100 gan y capel i’w drosglwyddo fel talebau Greggs. Diolch i bawb.

Diolch hefyd i Margaret a Verian am fynd â’r cyfraniadau i fanc bwyd Hendy Gwyn drannoeth.

In our morning Service, a collection of £100 was donated to purchase Greggs food vouchers when we were informed of an emergency by the Carmarthenshire homeless charity.

Many thanks also to Margaret & Verian for taking the contibutions made over the last few weeks to the food bank. It’s our privilege to support those in need.

Arddangosfa

Bu cynrychiolwyr o Tŷ Croeso yng ngwasanaeth dinesig Cymunedol prynhawn dydd Sul – diolch i Annalyn am baratoi arddangosfa o’n gweithgareddau.

Representatives of Tŷ Croeso and Bethlehem chapel attended the Civic Community service  – many thanks to Annalyn for this display of our activities.

Newyddion cyffrous – Dolen Teifi

Daeth y Cynghorydd Sharen Davies i annerch criw Croeso Cynnes am y bws cymunedol newydd a fydd ar gael cyn bo hir. Mae Annalyn eisoes yn trefnu gwirfoddolwyr i’w yrru.

The councillor shared information about the community bus – a bus for 7 at 45p per mile; a larger bus available for approx £1.35 per mile.

Pererindod

Aeth 35 o aelodau’r ofalaeth a chapel Tabernacl Hendy Gwyn i’r Harp, Treletert am ginio dydd Sul cyn mynd i gapel Penybont Casblaidd am oedfa brynhawn dan arweiniad y Parch Geoff Eynon a roddodd grynodeb o hanes yr achos yno ac fe wahoddwyd Annalyn i rannu hanes Tŷ Croeso. Yn dilyn y gwasanaeth cawsom de yn y festri– gwerthfawrogwyd y croeso arbennig a gawsom ganddynt yno.

We all enjoyed our  lunch at the Harp, Letterston prior to a service at the chapel in  Wolfscastle and appreciated the warm welcome extended to us and for the tea which followed.

Cofebau Capel Mair

Braf oedd croesawu Les i’r Croeso Cynnes bore Mawrth i weld y ddau gofeb a osodwyd ar wal y capel gan Rhydian a Rhys – roedden nhw’n eithriadol o drwm! Daw’r ddau gofeb o Gapel Mair yn cofnodi’r rhai a gollwyd yn y ddau Ryfel Byd.

Thanks to Rhydian & Rhys, the two World War memorials from Capel Mair chapel have been placed on the wall at Bethlehem.

Priodas

Llongyfarchiadau i Mr & Mrs Briscow, sef Nia a Luke ar eu priodas – y briodas gyntaf i’w chynnal yn y capel ar ei newydd wedd.

Congratulations to Nia and Luke on their marriage – the first wedding held at the chapel since the renovation.
